Ouch! Oil leakage?!

What a lovely weather we had on 20 and 21 February 2021. Of course a very good reason to bring the car outside! For the first time in 2021...

The car started without any hesitation: the whole winter the battery has not been disconnected and neither been recharged, so excited when the V8 started roaring...

Oops! Oil?

Yes, it felt like oil... And it was red:

It was not much oil, but still: I do not like this... So, checking the oil level... Indeed, too low...

A later visit to my garage learnt me that most probably the rubber gasket on the automatic transmission has been dried out, as below this gasket there was oil, while nothing above the gasket.... Pfffhhh...

So, immediately brought the oil-level up again and scheduled a slot for maintenance.
